Running classroom session can be challenging. The students’ level of relevant knowledge can vary, and classes are often large, making it difficult to engage everyone.
One of the biggest challenges Julie faces is engaging all her students. Many students are too timid to ask questions, worried it will make them appear stupid in front of their peers.
When her students get bored and distracted, Julie finds it difficult to determine whether they have checked out because the materiel is too easy, or because it is too difficult. In addition, she needs to find out the areas with which the students really need help, so she can allocate extra time to cover those topics.
